  •           COME AND SEE

    I’m back! I took a while to pick up the pen again, but when God keeps nudging at you that, “It’s time” then its time. Walking through a different season in life, can almost feel like a real roller coaster ride. One thing I can truly say is that through every high point and every low point, God was and still is with me.  This entry is diffrent.  It includes a short video that includes myself and three of my sisters in Christ. I was nervous to make the entry and even more nervous to ask them to be a part of it with me. The Lord has not left me and He even surrounds me with people that pray for me, encourage me, and lift me up in moments I lose focus. He has put them in my life for such a time as this. In their “YES”, they walk in faith and confidence that although their “Come and See” is different from mine or yours, God is still the one that brought us out of the season that led us to Him. He is worthy of all honor and glory for us to share HIS goodness, faithfulness, unconditional love and so much more. We do it not to bring light to us but to shine a pathway to God, for those that may have lost all hope, feel completely shattered, feel an uncontrollable anger, keep repeating the same toxic cycle, or you fill in the blank. We come united, wanting you to know that even in the midst of what seems like complete darkness, chaos, and unbearable hurt, HE is with you through it.

    Come and see what our God has done,what awesome miracles he performs for people!

    It’s the invite you don’t want to reject! Its the invite you didn’t even know you needed! It’s the best invite you can ever receive in this life!

  • COLLECTED TEARS

    PSALM 56:8 - YOU KEEP TRACK OF ALL MY SORROWS. YOU HAVE COLLECTED ALL OF MY TEARS IN YOUR BOTTLE. YOU HAVE RECORDED EACH ONE IN YOUR BOOK.

    HE COLLECTS EACH AND EVERY TEAR!

    How beautiful is that to hear? He loves us so much that He would collect each and every tear that slides down your face and puts them in a bottle. He knows why you shed them and know this…He was with you every single time. But we also have an enemy that will try desperately to fill your mind with every lie he can think of to get you to fall off the plan God has for you. Never forget – SATAN IS A LIAR!

    We all go through things. We all hurt at some point. We all go through struggles and trials. We all cry at some point. Your things and my things are absolutely different….BUT GOD, TAKES OUR THINGS AND MAKES THEM HIS THINGS! He is the collector of our tears!

    If you’re anything like me, I don’t like to cry. I would avoid it at all costs and especially in front of people. I can say for the longest time, I tried to carry every burden, every heartache, every angry moment as mine and mine alone. If I could try to carry things for others, I would try to carry it, so they wouldn’t have to. No one ever asked me to do that, it’s just what I did. There were so many thoughts that ran through my mind like, “I can’t bother anyone with my stuff.” “There’s people going through bigger things than I am.”

    I had people encourage me and tell me, “Give it to God.” I have even encouraged others saying the same thing but like many people I’m sure, I was in a place where I just didn’t want to hear what anyone had to say. I just couldn’t do what I knew to do or what anyone was telling me to do. I was just a complete mess. It felt like I had loss after loss and what seemed like never ending tears. It felt like all I could do was lay in bed and cry. I’d get up with my fake smile, tell everyone I was ok and then back to my bed. I heard all the encouragement people gave, felt all the prayers, and even all the hugs. BUT GOD intervened and used my sister. She sat next to me on my bed and said, “You don’t always have to be the strong one.” It was like everything went silent but those words. After that, I began to lay more and more things in the hands of God with more tears. Maybe that is where you find yourself today. I write to tell you: HE’S THE COLLECTOR OF OUR TEARS.

    He never let me go, in fact, I know He walked with me and I believe it for you too! He reminds me to come to Him and He will give me rest, His yoke is easy. Matthew 11:28-30 -‘Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” I was in pain and He knew. I know He was always with me. He was always trying to take all my burdens from me but for whatever reason, I couldn’t give it to Him. Until the one day He used my sister to get me to focus, to let Him pick me back up even if it meant more tears. I never mentioned it to my sister and she’ll remember the moment I’m talking about when she reads this and all I can say is thank you! Thank you for being one of the people God used to get stubborn old me to focus on The Only One that could help me back up, when I thought there was no more getting up.

    I write this entry to tell you that whatever you may be going through, however hard it may feel, however dark it seems, however many tears fall down your face, God is there collecting every tear. However you made it here to read this entry, it is not an accident. It was part of God’s plan. He made a way for you to see it was Him that led you here to tell you … HE’S COLLECTING ALL YOUR TEARS!

  • CAN’T SEE

    Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT) 8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

    Sometimes life happens. It can feel like your world is flipped upside down. During this time all you want to do is whatever you need to do to make things better. Through the process you realize it’s hard, it’s so hard, you feel like this is the hardest struggle you have ever gone through, and along with all that, you can’t focus and you just can’t see. So much is going through your mind, you’re panicking, you’re beginning to feel depressed, everything seems too hard to control and you still CAN’T SEE!

    I write to tell you….

    There’s a path before you set by God, whether you can see it or not. God is with you whether you believe it or not. When you fall into the arms of your Father, He will open your eyes to see the path He has set in place for you. There is a path set for you by God but there is also a lying enemy that will fill you with lies. He reminds you that you CAN’T SEE so just give up. The enemy doesn’t want you to believe that God can open your eyes and when HE does, everything changes. YOU CAN SEE!

    When I tell you that it is so hard, there was a point when I felt my world was flipped over and over. I couldn’t see God’s purpose or plan for my life. I couldn’t see it, so I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t see it, so I didn’t understand it.

    BUT GOD!!!!

    Even when I want to just give up because it just didn’t make sense to keep walking towards or for something I couldn’t see. God just never gave up on me. He kept showing up and helping me see that he never left me. He would tell me, ” Keep going, stay on my path.” He put people in my life to lift me up, to help me SEE that just because my world got flipped upside down, didn’t mean that the purpose God has for changed or that the plan ended. What did HE do? He took me back to scripture. Isaiah 55:8 – 9 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

    Maybe you backslid and can’t see your way back.

    Maybe you can’t see because you never knew there was a God that lights up your path so bright that it breaks through any darkness.

    So, I write this blog entry to encourage you and to tell you that God loves you so much. So much he made the ultimate sacrifice, just so you can see. John 3:16 –  For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.  There is a path before you. It’s time to WALK IN IT!

    FA1ITH! Faith is to walk even when you can't see but you do it because you know who is leading you to the path he has in place for you. Hebrews 11:1 - Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.

    I leave you with this thought: I couldn’t see…. BUT GOD!

    He set me free and now I CAN SEE! The purpose and the plan is still there! He’s been lighting up a path for me! He never left me! So, if you made it all the way to the end of this blog, I want you to know it wasn’t by accident, and if you let him He will break through all the darkness so you CAN SEE too.

  • BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE

    Ephesians 3:18-19 NLT
    [18] And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. [19] May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

    Blessed beyond measure, sometimes we feel like we go through so much and actually have thoughts that run through our minds. They may sound like this:
    “Will I ever be ok?”
    “Is God even seeing all this?”
    “There’s others that have gone through more than you, you’re fine.”
    I have to admit that has been me, but not just that thought but so many more that I couldn’t stay focused.  Even when I tried so hard and would get knocked down over and over again and each time it seemed harder than the last time to get up. Maybe you feel, have felt you had thoughts like that too. Maybe you feel so torn and broken  that you absolutely feel things just can’t change, things will always be bad, you will always hurt. But let me tell you what; I’ve been in exactly that spot and I thought those same thoughts. I thought that all the hurt and all the pain I was going through, I deserved to have it and if anything good would have happened it would be short lived because why would things be better.
    BUT GOD!
    I sit here in the verge of tears realizing that God is so good then even when I think about how broken I felt last year this time it was all going according to his plan. I could not sit here and encourage you to let your guard down and let God do what he’s going to do. I’m writing to tell you, you have a choice, you get to decide how you’re going to handle things. You don’t have to sit alone in the dark. You don’t have to push everyone away.  You don’t have to believe the lies of the enemy. That is what the enemy is counting on. He’s counting on you to believe him, keep believing him and falling further and further down. The enemy will fill you with lies that you are and have been all alone.
    HES A LIAR!
    I wasnt ever alone and I write to say you weren’t and aren’t either. Every song that played at just the right time that made all the negative thoughts that played or plays over and over in your mind go away and gave you peace….was and is God! Every person that reached out at just the right time that stopped you from doing things that were or aren’t lined up with a God’s plan for you was and is God!
    Every night you actually were and are able to just have the most peaceful sleep when everything around you seemed or seems to be falling apart was and is God!

    I believe if you’re reading this, its because God wanted you to see, that you are not alone and that he loves you so much. I am blessed beyond measure and when you allow God to do what he’s always had planned to do in your life you will see it. What I see now is I am blessed beyond measure. I have a God that never left me, a God that used and uses people and even people that I never thought I’d be around to remind me that I am loved and God is using me even when I thought I would never be enough.  God has and is showing me I always was and still am more than enough, and he thought of me even before I was born.
    Jeremiah 1:5 NLT – “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”
    And you are too!
    I dont think I couldn’t have said this last year but I can today is:

    When life is great, I am blessed!!
    When life is hard, I am blessed!!
    My God is so good to me, even when I fall short and am undeserving! He still says,You are mine! and “I AM with you always!
    I LOVE ❤️ YOU DAUGHTER!
    I am blessed beyond measure because I can’t even count high enough to describe how blessed I am. I encourage you to get your focus back on God and stop fighting him, so you can see you are blessed beyond measure too!

  • BE STILL

    Exodus 14:14 NLT - The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

    To be still when everything around you seems to be going wrong is hard.
       You’re feeling overwhelmed!
       You’re feeling hurt!
       You’re feeling  ashamed!
       You’re feeling frustrated!
       You’re feeling depressed!
    BUT GOD….HAS SAID BE STILL!
    It’s no secret that the enemy will try everything he can do to make you feel every negative emotion. He looks for any opening to sneak in to cause chaos. The bible says in: 

    1 Peter 5:8 NLT - Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

    Through it all, God is there with you. Focus, and you will see there was never a moment you were alone. I pray that brought a smile to your face because HE loves you so much! He loves you so much that HE:
       Hears your cries of “God, I’m so tired, help me!”
       He takes in the breath of whatever heaviness you have been carrying.
       He collects your every tear drop!


                  BE STILL! BE STILL! BE STILL!


    In HIS presence, you will find everything you have been searching for and everything you didn’t even know you needed. Drop and let go of everything the enemy is trying to pile on to you. It’s time to run into the arms of YOUR FATHER and BE STILL….rest!!! Recognize that in your moment of stillness, you begin to focus and see the hand of God move on your behalf even in the littlest things. He will make a song that you don’t even have on your Playlist play at just the right moment, so you know HE is right there with you! He’s never left you! He loves you more than you can ever imagine. He has plans for you and maybe it’s things you never thought you could do but if you remain still and let HIM do what HE does, you will recieve the peace, joy, love and so much more, only HE can give you.  So I encourage you today. If you’re still reading this, GOD knew and is saying,  “Push through, look past the lies of the enemy and focus on ME. BE STILL, I LOVE YOU!”

  • He Kept Me!

    1 Peter 2:9 NLT - But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

    DON’T LET GO!!

    The dark days will turn to light, and the storms will calm. You can see and feel the light shine through the darkness, and you can feel the storms calm when you focus on ‘The One’ that is light and ‘The One’ that can command the storm to calm. Trust HIM when he says, “Don’t let go, I got you!”

    Is it easy? Nope! I will be the first to say that at times, it’s so hard, and all you want to do is let go and do things your own way. Only that way never leaves you with the complete peace you would get when you do it God’s way. Even when I wanted to just let go, God held on to me even tighter.

    He ordered my every step and surrounded me with everything I needed to get up, focus, and keep walking towards the light, the calmness…HIM!

    He used whatever and whoever was needed to help me get my focus and attention back on him. He used a  song that I’ve heard many times to touch me so deeply that it brought me to tears. He used a sermon to remind me that he isn’t  done with me. He used people to pray over me, encourage me, speak life into me, and even just to hug me and whisper, ” You’re not alone.”

    DON’T LET GO! FOCUS!

          Is he trying to get your attention?

    Everything the enemy tried to use to destroy me, God turned it around. Genesis 50:20 NLT
    [20] You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. Through it, he’s made me stronger.

    It was a setup! A setup for what he’s about to do. The enemy is counting on you and I to let go and give up. But I’m writing this entry to remind you that THE DEVIL IS a LIAR! GET UP!

    Get up and look up! Psalms 121:1-2 NLT
    [1] I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? [2] My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! We can’t forget, it’s where our help comes from.

    I am overwhelmed in the thought that HE KEPT ME! He kept me even when I thought I didn’t want to be kept. Even then, he held me tight in his arms.

    He’s keeping you too!!

    There is such joy in my heart because I know that I called out to him, and he heard me. Psalm 120:1 – I took my troubles to the LORD; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.

    Over and over, he told me:

    I chose you!

    I called you by name!

    I created you with purpose!

    I love you!

    You are mine, and I’m keeping you!

    I want to encourage you to know that reading this blog isn’t an accident. He ordered you steps to read it because he wants you to know that He’s keeping you!

    You are chosen!

    You are called by name!

    You have purpose!

    He loves you!

    You’re his and he’s keeping you!

    Let us not end 2024 in sadness over things that were lost or things that have ended but let us walk forward in excitement and the expectation that it was all a setup for what’s to come. There’s more that God has waiting.

    I see now that:

    He didn’t just keep me! He rescued me!

    So don’t let go! Keep going and rejoice because he’s rescuing you to keep you!

    Always remember: As you find yourself waiting in the midst, God is there!

  • ONE TOUCH

    One touch from God brings healing, transformation and so much more. It is lifechanging. All it takes is one touch to see, feel, and grow a desire to walk towards him and for him.

    It changes you from feeling:

    BROKEN TO WHOLE

    SICK TO HEALED

    TORN TO MENDED

    UNLOVED TO LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY

    UNWORHTY TO WORTHY

    THAT THE OLD HAS PASSED AWAY AND YOU HAVE BEEN MADE NEW!

    Everything the enemy and this broken world has to offer is absolutely temporary. The enemy will send continuous lies and attacks in the hopes that you will eventually believe him and not go after “THE ONE” touch God has to offer.

    But let me tell you, when you trust God no matter what things look like or feel like, when you let him mold you and shape you into the man or woman, he created you to be, all you need is, ONE TOUCH from God to experience a change in everything.

    Maybe you been going through somethings (aren’t we all), maybe (sometimes) you have been praying about things and nothing seems to change. My question to you is: How bad do you want change not just in the situation you are facing but ALL things? He has a purpose for you, but will you still believe ONE TOUCH will change things as you walk through good and bad things.

    Romans 8:28 - And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for him.

    How desperate are you to get to him for that ONE TOUCH, however he would have you receive it. Maybe he sends it through a man or woman of God that would speak over you, pray over you, or lay hands on you. Maybe he sends it through a song that this time it hits you different and it brings you to tears hearing one part that sent that ONE TOUCH you needed to keep going.

    Desperate: (of an act or attempt) tried in despair or when everything else has failed; having little hope of success.

    One Touch from him and you will never be the same again.

    The bible says the woman with the issue of blood knew this:

    Matthew 9:21 – for she thought, “If I can just touch his rove, I will be healed.”

    12 years she suffered with this issue. She was so desperate that she spent all her money to fix it, she went to doctors and healers and not one healed her but made it worse. She was hopeless until she heard Jesus was coming. She pushed through the crowd to get to him. It couldn’t have been easy to get through but that is how desperate she was, she let nothing stop her. Are you desperate enough to push through all the obstacles, trials, and struggles stopping at nothing for ONE TOUCH? In her thoughts she knew all she needed was one touch and she would be healed.

    How long have you been searching high and low, going from place to place and person to person and like this woman with the issue of blood never getting better? That is until her encounter with the one that could change all things with ONE TOUCH.

    When will we realize that all we need is ONE TOUCH from the one that makes all thing new. This woman’s life was changed in an instant. Her life was changed from being called an outcast and reject to “DAUGHTER”. You also have the same opportunity to receive ONE TOUCH, that changes all things and be called HIS. Are you desperate enough? Will you do what it takes to get it?

    I don’t know if you have experienced ONE TOUCH from Him. I feel I have, and I know that with everything in me, I want you to experience it too. Even as life happens and I get overwhelmed and maybe fall apart, God always comes again with that ONE TOUCH and heals me of anything that I was holding on to longer than I should have.

    ONE TOUCH FROM HIM CHANGED ME! For me it was when I said YES to follow him. It was days when everything seemed to be flipped upside down and I wanted every day to end just as fast as it came. Then I was introduced to the God that sent his son just for me. The great thing is not just for me, for you too. That day God used the rain for me to somehow hear, “Give me a chance.” As I have grown in my walk with God, I see, He didn’t just touch me that day but even still does today. Life happens and so much changes but the one thing that never did was…. HIM! His ONE TOUCH still heals, transforms, changes things, and makes things new today as he did then. I want you to know that it wasn’t an accident that you would read this blog. God knew and set up this divine appoint because you also needed his – ONE TOUCH!

    PS… Never forget that as you are waiting in the midst, whatever it maybe, God is with you. Don’t give up! Keep going – Breakthrough is coming! – Melissa

  • YOU ARE CHOSEN

    Ephesians 4:1 - Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 

    This entry is a REMINDER. If you're anything like me, maybe you need this reminder because somewhere along the way, you started to lose focus or maybe even lost focus. The enemy is out to steal kill and destroy. John 10:10 (NLT)- The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. He does everything he can to get you in a place where you begin to believe his lies. You lose focus and the lies seem like maybe they are true. The focus gets blurry when you begin to struggle with things new and old, the trials seem to be never-ending, the pain you been going through seems to be taking much longer than you ever thought or even that feeling where you feel you just got drop kicked in the chest and in the past you were able to get up and be ready to go again but this time:
    it seems harder
    this time it hurts way more,
    this time it feels like your grip is loosening this time you feel more alone than you ever have,
    this time everything seems to be to be destroyed to be repaired,
    this time it seems that darkness is surrounding you, but there is light! 
    HIM! THE LORD! HE IS THERE! HE NEVER LEFT YOU! HE CHOSE YOU!

    I sat in tears writing in the joy of the Lord because I know if you stopped to read this, it is not an accident. It was HIS plan for you to read this and encourage you that it is time to tell the enemy that HE IS A LIAR!

    To be honest, HE has reminded me over and over that He is ordering my steps. Proverbs 16:9 (NLT) - We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. In moments I think I'm alone I see, HE never has left me and he's even putting more people in my life that are praying, watching over me, and helping to build me up.

    I AM CHOSEN! HE CHOSE ME!
    Before I was even born, he chose me. Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. 

    Tears of joy as I think; How, just how could I be so special to HIM that even before I was born, HE CHOSE ME? 
    He chose me:
    despite my past, 
    despite my every failure
    despite my poor choices
    despite my rebellion
    despite my running away from him,
    despite my being angry with him, HE still chose me!
    An overwhelming unconditional love that you just never want to let go. I want to repeat it so much so others that hear me want to have it too, I want everyone to know what I know. I can say it makes me feel I am enough; I am worthy, I am loved, I have purpose, I am forgiven because I AM CHOSEN!

    I just can't end this without saying that you are here reading this to the very end because God wants you to remind you OR even if you didn't know:  HE CHOSE YOU TOO!

    Get up! Tell the enemy he lost because you remembered or was informed that you have the VICTORY! 

    YOU ARE CHOSEN!!!

  • COME BACK

    Luke 1:37 – For with God nothing will be impossible.

    This entry is a little different because it’s part of a message I shared with my church. That message I struggled to give because it had me feeling like it was two messages. I see now, it is two messages.

    The first message God asked me:

    “CAN THE BONES LIVE?”

    This message God is asking:

    “CAN THE BONES LIVE?

    Ezekiel 37 speaks of dry dead bones and that God asks him this very question.

    Ezekiel 37:3 – Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?”

    In this message, He wants me to see how close I became to becoming dry dead bones. I cried again as he worked in me to bring this message to you, just as he was placing it in my heart again to share.

    He did not want me to forget the hurt HE felt as he sees, I’m still struggling to have that passion and love I first had for HIM, that first love feeling. HE sees I’m still struggling to spend intimate time with HIM. He sees I’m struggling to worship, to sing at my house or in my car like before.

    All I can continue to say is… BUT GOD…is so good!! Even as I have fallen so very short and undeserving to hear HIM still tell me:

    ‘YOU’RE MINE!”

    “I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU!”

    “I CHOSE YOU!”

    “I WANT YOU BACK!”

    “COME BACK”

    I am chosen! You reading this are chosen!

    We often get lost in our circumstances, our situations, the trials, the battles that have us feeling we are surrounded by dry dead bones. The natural eye will see dry dead bones that couldn’t possibly live. I felt this and felt so disconnected from “THE ONE” that could make the bones live. I realized, I am not dead, and I opened my eyes to see HE wanted me back. God is calling for HIS church back. I am the church; you are the church too! I want you to know, He will bring the dead bones to life.

    Those dead bones do live, why? Because He said it! He told Eziekiel to prophesy over the bones, and He also tells you to prophesy over what you see in your life as dead bones.

    COME BACK!!!

    COME BACK BECAUSE IT’S DONE!

    COME BACK AND RECIEVE YOUR HEALING!

    COME BACK AND RECIEVE RESTORATION!

    COME BACK AND WATCH YOUR FAMILY BE LED TO THE ONE TRUE KING!

    COME BACK AND RECIEVE FREEDOM!

    COME BACK AND RECIEVE THE MARRIAGE YOU DESERVE!

    COME BACK AND SEE THE BREAK TRHOUGH!

    COME BACK AND WATCH HIM BRING DEATH TO LIFE!

    This entry is for YOU that maybe backslid and now you feel your walk is too broken to repair, for the one who’s relationship with God feels so disconnected that you can’t even imagine how he will even accept you back, for the one that’s lost all hope, and for the ones that never even know there was a GOD that could bring dry dead bones to life.

    So, I reshare this to tell you: COME BACK! HE SAID THE BONES WILL LIVE! HE IS ASKING YOU AS HE ASKED EZEKIEL! CAN THESE BONES LIVE? TO SEE THE AMAZING THING EZEKIEL SAW, YOU HAVE TO ALSO PROPHESY OVER YOUR SITUATION, THE DEAD BONES YOU SEE AND BELIEVE, SPEAK LIFE AND WATCH GOD BRING TO LIFE WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS DEAD!

  • HAVE YOU CONSIDERED?

    Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

    “FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU,” SAYS THE LORD.

    Let that sink in because HE does have plans for you, but if you are anything like me, maybe you don’t always see it. Maybe it’s hard to see because it seems like you have gone battle after battle and hurt after hurt, and maybe the plans seem blurred, but… HAVE YOU CONSIDERED, the rest of the verse.

    ”THEY ARE PLANS FOR GOOD AND NOT FOR DISASTER, TO GIVE A FUTURE AND A HOPE.”

    To consider means to think about, to contemplate, to reflect, to acknowledge, to recognize, but it doesn’t mean to ignore, reject, or overlook.

    We go through things and think, ” God these plans you have for me seem to be hurting me more than helping,”

    BUT!

    Have you considered the change in you? The change that happens to you and within you because of the battles, trials, and struggles. They hurt and are uncomfortable, and all you want to do is get to a safe place.I want to tell you, God is your safe place!  For me, I never considered that in my weakness, I’d find strength within me to keep getting up every time the enemy knocked me down with something.

    2 Corinthians 12:9-10 – 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. We have to know that the enemy will not stop. He is just tries harder. I want you to know that through it, God never leaves you. In the darkness, you find light.

    Maybe you are down but once you realize the newfound strength within you. Just look up, you will see the hand of God move on your behalf. Psalm 121:1-2 – I look up to the mountains does my help come from there? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! The moment you look up, and realize, HE ‘S there, you will begin to believe the other half of the verse – THEY ARE PLANS FOR GOOD AND NOT DISASTER, TO GIVE YOU A FUTURE AND A HOPE.

    I never considered that thru the hurt, through the changes, and the trials that HE was preparing me and building me up for the promises and the plans he has for me. I don’t know what you’re going through or what you’ve gone through, but I pray that you keep this verse close and repeat it so much you won’t forget it and you always remember…. HE KNOWS THE PLANS HE HAS FOR YOU!

    Our ways aren’t HIS ways! His ways aren’t ours! Isaiah 55:8-9 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,so, my ways are higher than your way and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Let’s be honest, who, wouldn’t pick the easiest, shortest, less painful way. Through the battles, trials, and struggles you may feel you’ve lost. You feel you lost when things didn’t turn out the way you thought they were going to turn out. LIES!! Don’t let the lies of the enemy get you to believe that your ways are better than God’s way. I want to tell you that no matter how much you hurt, struggle, and fight, God’s way, HIS way is the best way. He won’t leave you down and broken and if you let HIM do things HIS way it brings growth, endurance, love, strength, and so much more.

    Walk in confidence that his plans for you will come together. You will realize it was all worth it. You will then look forward to a better future, and you find the hope you thought you lost is still found in God. Keep the faith. Faith doesn’t mean you won’t have questions. To me, it just means you will keep going and trust that even if it hurts, I will keep going because I know who to take it all to. I can trust that EVEN If it’s the darkest, driest place I’ve ever walked, crawled, or dragged my way through, I know that just on the other side, is the plans GOD has for me.
